As Caregivers, we often experience the unexpected in caring for beloved family, friends, in-laws and pets. Along with managing our daily lives, we may be faced with an often complex healthcare system to navigate and a wave of emotions. For some, Yoga provides respite and support to move through these challenges. This workshop is a gentle invitation to slow down for a while to practice asanas, journal and take part in a community discussion to share helpful resources. About the Instructor: Roxanne Wynn is grateful for the solace and grace that Yoga provides as a Caregiver. She completed her 200-Hr training under the guidance and mentorship of Revolution Yoga and has since taught sessions with the Ryan Community Health Center in NYC for World AIDS Day, the Senior community, and a Women's Health & Domestic Violence Awareness Workshop. She is currently a volunteer Yoga Instructor for The Pillars in Harlem. Workshop Outline:*Welcome, Overview & Journaling Prompts*Gentle Asanas*Community Discussion, Tea & Light Treats*Resource Sharing (AARP, Alzheimer's Association, Community Health Center & More)
