Ranch Rodeos are a different kind of rodeo competition that feature teams of cowboys from working ranches competing against each other in events similar to what they do every day such as steer loading, calf branding, roping, and tying. This year, we have hand-picked teams from some of the biggest working ranches in Texas and invited them to the San Antonio Rodeo Ranch Rodeo where they will have one night to compete for over $40,000 in cash, prizes, and bragging rights in the Frost Bank Center. Only six teams, made up of five cowboys each, are invited to participate in the prestigious San Antonio Ranch Rodeo. Each team will compete in six timed events, including wild cow milking, the rescue race, and the hide race. The team with the highest point total will be crowned the San Antonio Ranch Rodeo Champion. The coveted titles of ?Top Hand? and ?Top Horse? will also be awarded to a deserving cowboy and ranch horse.

This is a special rodeo performance and not the standard rodeo event, see event info for more information. The ranch rodeo lasts approximately 2 hours. After there is a brief intermission (approx. 15 minutes) followed by the entertainment. The concert lasts between 60 to 75 minutes. Your Rodeo ticket also includes Stock Show & Rodeo fairgrounds admission so that you can enjoy all that the 2027 San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo has to offer.
