FURRY FRIENDS IN THRILLING RACES RETURN SATURDAY, OCT 24TH! Join the cutest Dachshund's in Southern California as they take the field at Santa Anita Park, Saturday, October 24, 2026. It’s the Hallowienerfest, and you won’t want to miss these speed demons put their paws to work at this fun family event! Visit the Official SoCal Wiener Fest website! Event Information: Saturday | October 24 Event Times: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM Location: East Infield (Infield Gate) FREE Parking: Gate 6 off Colorado Place This festival event features: Dachshund-Centric Vendor Village Dachshund Costume Contest Food & Drink Pet Friendly Fun (only dachshund's welcome!) Family Fun Activities Horse Racing And of course, THE MAIN EVENT- WIENER DOG RACES, all day long! With the FINALS taking place right on the dirt track! YES, YOU CAN BRING YOUR DACHSHUND AS A SPECTATOR TOO! Dachshund's must be vaccinated, and a release form must be completed, see details below. Timeline: TBA $5 Admission to Infield (plus taxes and fees) Kids 17 and under are admitted free. PLEASE READ IF YOU PLAN ON BRINGING YOUR DACHSHUND All dachshund's must check-in outside of the Infield Entrance (Enter through Gate 6 – Infield Entrance). IMPORTANT: Owners must sign and agree to this waiver. Please read before you bring your dachshund. MUST BRING PROOF OF CURRENT VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS: RABIES AND DISTEMPER/PARVO. NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED ON THE GRANDSTAND SIDE. All dogs must be check-in by 3:00 pm All dogs must be on a leash at all times. Owner/handler is responsible for their dog at all times, including cleaning up after their dog. Dog owners must follow the instructions of Santa Anita Park staff at all times. Dogs can be expelled from Santa Anita Park for any reason. This event is rain or shine! Only Dachshunds allowed- NO OUTSIDE BREEDS WILL BE LET IN!
