Wednesdays – Sundays: 12:30 – 1:30 pm The Paley Museum, 25 West 52 Street,  NYC Free for Paley Members I Included in General Admission At The Paley Museum, families can enjoy From Storytime to Screentime, a fun, entertaining, and educational program featuring screenings of beloved TV shows inspired by classic children’s books. The program starts with a cozy story time, where a presenter reads the original book aloud. Afterward, families will watch the TV show adaptation and participate in arts & crafts and activities inspired by the stories. It’s the perfect combination of reading, watching, and playing—only at Paley! Storytime is free for Paley Members; included in General Admission.  August Oswald “Chasing the Ice Cream Truck” / “Camping Trip” Oswald and his dog Weenie chase the ice cream truck through the city in search of a sweet treat and later brave the rain while on a camping trip with their friends. August Arts & Crafts: Pom Pom Ice Cream Cone! Everyone loves ice cream! Before you have your own sweet treat like Oswald and Weenie, make a fun ice cream cone using cardboard, pom poms, and glue. What flavor will you choose? Pink pom poms for strawberry? Maybe green with sprinkles for mint chip? It’s your choice!  September The Tale of Peter Rabbit Peter Rabbit’s mother told him to stay out of Farmer McGregor’s garden, but the curious little rabbit couldn’t resist! September Arts & Crafts: Peter Rabbit Paper Roll! Make your very own little Peter Rabbit—Using a toilet paper roll, paper, scissors, markers, and glue! He could wear the same blue coat you see in the book, or give him new clothes from your imagination.  October Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!: “Hassle in the Castle”  When Scooby-Doo and the gang get stuck on Haunted Island, they visit a spooky house for help. But someone, or something, wants them out!  October Arts & Crafts: Ghosts and Ghoulies Buttons! Using markers and colored pencils, draw your favorite spooky character, or design one of your own. Your creation will be turned into a button you can wear, just in time for Halloween!  November A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving  When Peppermint Patty invites herself to Charlie Brown and Sally’s house for Thanksgiving, Snoopy makes all the arrangements for their guests—including the Thanksgiving feast.  November Arts & Crafts: Snoopy and Woodstock Thanksgiving Stick Puppets It’s Thanksgiving time! Using popsicle sticks, paper, scissors, glue, and markers, make your own Snoopy and Woodstock stick puppets, complete with their own pilgrim hat. December Arthur's Perfect Christmas   The residents of Elwood City prepare for the holidays, and Arthur gets ready for what he hopes is a "perfect” Christmas.  December Arts & Crafts: Winter Craft Extravaganza! Like Arthur, get ready for a fun winter holiday by making festive crafts—snow globes, snowmen, trees, and stick puppets—using simple supplies.
