Date: Tuesday, October 27th, 2026 Doors open at 5:30 pm Show starts at 7:00 pm The Church Studio is redefining live music events—bringing a thrilling listening experience to a finite group of 100 guests in the acoustically pristine Live Room (original sanctuary) of The Church Studio. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Church Studio is both an analog and digital recording studio, archive, and audio engineering school. The team has designed a series of rare, highly curated, intimate programs showcasing legendary artists. Each event is truly a bucket-list-level event. Your evening includes: Champagne welcome Mingling at The Church Studio, a historic landmark and national treasure Tours of the property Cash bar Grazing table and small bites (and clever conversation, of course) Comfortable seating in the acoustically exceptional Live Room (original sanctuary) Announcement of the next scheduled program A once-in-a-lifetime musical experience For the Lounge Listening Experience Ticket: Enjoy the lounge with our vintage JBL speakers as the live performance is piped into the Lounge. You'll have direct access to the bar; however, you will not be in the studio with Tony Visconti, and there is no video. For the Control Room Ticket: The Control Room Ticket offers a unique behind-the-scenes perspective of the recording process. Guests are seated behind the audio engineers, providing an exclusive look at how a live performance is mixed and recorded in real time. Because this experience is focused on the technical and production side of the show, we typically recommend it for a second or third visit. For first-time guests, we suggest a regular VIP In-Room Ticket to fully experience the performance alongside the artists in the studio. Tony Visconti Tony Visconti is a Grammy-winning record producer, musician, arranger, and one of the most influential figures in modern recording history. Best known for his groundbreaking work with David Bowie and T. Rex, Visconti’s remarkable career has also included collaborations with Paul McCartney & Wings, The Moody Blues, Thin Lizzy, Morrissey, Angelique Kidjo, and many others. His decades-long creative partnership with David Bowie included iconic albums such as Young Americans, Heroes, Low, Heathen, and Blackstar. For this special Church Studio event, Visconti will take guests behind the music and share stories, insights, and memories surrounding landmark recordings from his extraordinary production career. Visconti will be giving an insiders look centered around six landmark recordings from his production career. The listening experience and discussion features the following songs: Band on the Run Heroes Bang a Gong (Get It On) Your Wildest Dreams Young Americans Black Star
